Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-S3

Fantastic all-rounder for the price, includes LiPo charging which is great. Plethora of pheriphials as well, will be amazing for 99% of usecases. Has castelated edges and a USB C port that slightly sticks out & breaks out the USB connections on the bottom. The plus variant has a bit more GPIO (now including I2S) with a slightly higher power draw.

LILYGO T-Display S3

For a buck or two more than the Seeed board you get a free display. For about 20-30 bucks you can also get an AMOLED variant that looks gorgeous. I do not recommend getting the “Long” variant, reviews are not positive.
